Room/Facility Rental - Seminars, Classes, Horticultural Programs and so much more

We blended the magic of our family history, farm environment and horticulture history to create a unique indoor 700sq ft. rental space that was custom designed with beautiful hardwood floors, calming fireplace and rustic pine ceiling beams. A Day In The Country sits on 10 acres of farm land, with lush picturesque gardens and plenty of space for your outdoor event! We have ample parking, and we are abilities accessible. Our multi-purpose indoor room comfortably fits 40 people and is available to rent for anything you can think of, from special family events to educational classes and training to healing, personal growth retreat, seminars, book clubs, garden clubs with added nature tours added in to art/paint nights, clubs, craft nights, weddings, baby or bridal shows, birthday parties, anniversary parties, art shows and the list goes on… We have our own catering service - Huron Shores Catering or you may provide your own.

Hi! My name is Danielle Graumans. I am the Operations Manager for A Day In The Country – Fanshawe Nursery Ltd.
My background is people and that fits well with my job at A Day In The Country as I take care of all the logistical aspects of an event, ensuring its smooth execution by managing budgets, coordinating vendors, supervising staff and catering to any need you might have that arises during the event. I do all this while adhering to safety regulations and client requirements, effectively acting as the on-site leader to guarantee a successful event experience.
I am a mother to 2 beautiful little girls. I love everything about nature and people thus why A Day In The Country event venue is very near and dear to my heart for these and many more reasons.
A Day In The Country is where the wonderful Mary (owner) lives and it is also where my husband and I said I do!
Not only have I made many beautiful memories here, at the farm, I have witnessed and been part of so many wonderful events. I look forward to making more memories with you as our guest!

Our Facility Rental Fees
Hourly Rental Rate:
Monday to Sunday, Holiday Days $80.00/Hour (All Inclusive)
* Please note, rentals must be a minimum of 3 hours (unless arranged separately with Fanshawe Nursery Ltd. A Day in the Country prior to rental)*
*We have ample parking and are abilities accessible.
*Maximum Indoor Occupancy is 40 people
*Closed all statutory holidays.
*All prices include use of our 700sq ft. Meeting space, and lush gardens.
*Catering prices and options are available upon request through our caterer Huron Shores Catering Service or you may provided your own.
*An introspective tour of the facility, and grounds, is available for an additional fee of $18.00.
*A Maintenance/Security Deposit of $50.00 is required of all rentals and will be refunded if no additional maintenance is required.
(This fee is paid in addition to the rental fee(s) and must be paid in advance of the rental date along with a signed copy of the Fanshawe Nursery Ltd. A Day In The Country Rental Agreement in order to confirm booking date and time.)
* An additional fee will apply and will be invoiced by Fanshawe Nursery Ltd. A Day In The Country should the time extend
beyond the terms of the Facility Rental Agreement.
